‘FROM THE LOGO WITH LOVE’

Some of our best childhood memories weren't made in front of a screen or at some elaborate event. They were made right in our neighborhoods, surrounded by friends, family, friendly competition, and a community that showed up simply to enjoy itself.

That spirit was the inspiration behind the inaugural Money Ball Classic, held at the legendary Quinby Park in Warren, Ohio, a familiar community gathering place that provided the perfect backdrop for an event rooted in nostalgia, neighborhood pride, and togetherness.

As event co-creator and curator Will Harris explained, the idea was simple: "To get back to community activities that our best childhood memories come [from], just doin' our part."

And the community answered the call.

With prizes, giveaways, and, perhaps most importantly, bragging rights on the line, the Money Ball Classic delivered an atmosphere that extended well beyond the competition.

Local favorites Rolling Goodz and Jada's Box helped make the occasion special, highlighting how community events can also create valuable opportunities for neighborhood entrepreneurs. MVP Boxing added to the excitement with a demonstration, while Lil Bros Kicks and other supporters contributed to the inaugural experience.

What made the Money Ball Classic significant wasn't simply the prizes or who walked away with bragging rights. It was the collective effort the organizers who created the opportunity, the businesses that participated, and the families and neighbors who showed up to support it.

There's something especially fitting about bringing an event like this to Quinby Park, a place that represents the kind of neighborhood gathering spaces where generations have created memories.

The Money Ball Classic wasn't just about competition. It was about connection, community pride, and creating the kind of memories that inspired the event in the first place.

Sometimes, all it takes is a good idea, a few committed people, and a willingness to do your part.
